Custom post types & taxonomies in bottom bar

AppMySite has extended support towards custom post types and taxonomies in the bottom bar module. This deepens AppMySite’s integration with WordPress and extends support for third-party plugins.

Previously, custom post types and taxonomies were accessible via the top bar main menu only. This update will now enable you to show any custom post type and taxonomy created by third-party plugins in the bottom menu of your app.

If you’re using a third party WordPress plugin for courses, lessons, property listings, etc., you should now be able to showcase relevant content in your app’s bottom bar as well.

Automatically publish your iOS app to the App Store

You can now automatically submit your app to the Apple App Store. The new Publish feature enables you to directly deploy iOS apps from within your AppMySite account.

With the Publish, you no longer need to login to your App Store Connect account to submit an app every time a new version is ready. Instead, you can simply choose an app version you wish to deploy and hit submit to upload your app to the App Store.

The following steps highlight how you can use the Publish feature to deploy iOS apps to the App Store:

– Connect your App Store Connect account to AppMySite. This step is mandatory. You would need to enter certain details from your Apple developer account to complete the connection.
– Choose the app version you wish to submit. You can choose from any iOS build you’ve created in your AppMySite account. We recommend you deploy the latest version of your app.
– You can also enter the details of the new release. This can include information on new features, bug fixes, and more. This information will be visible on your App Store listing.
– Hit Submit when you’re ready. You can check the status in the Publish History section to see if your app was successfully uploaded or not.
