For a better UI/UX on Android tablets and long screen mobile phones landscape view makes sense to have.
This feature request will be useful for all apps for which a horizontal screen layout can improve UX (e.g. e-commerce, content comparison/browsing, ...)

This would be a good option, but make it owner select-able. Especially on phones, most websites don't look good and operate well in a landscape orientation.
