Backorder support enabled – Allow customers to order out-of-stock products

AppMySite recently enabled backorder support for all WooCommerce apps. This will allow your customers to place orders for products that are out-of-stock and available for backordering.

Earlier, products that went out of stock were unpurchasable. Online shoppers don’t like seeing products labelled as out of stock. Backorder support ensures your customers can purchase items even when they go out of stock and remain available for backordering.

The following points will explain how your app users can backorder out-of-stock products-

– Enable the backorder option on the backend of your WooCommerce store.
– When your shoppers come across an out-of-stock product on your app, they will be able to order it without a hitch.
– You can then fulfill the order when the product is back in stock.
– Backorder support will be available only on the products you’ve enabled backordering on.

The support for displaying external products will be available for apps with code version 1.3.4 and above.
